Our Story

Born and raised in Venezuela, she started to create bracelets and necklaces with her sister at the age of 5. They used to play tennis Monday to Friday, but on rainy days, her mom took them to the craft shop and made them choose beads and charms so they could spend the rainy afternoons playing to be jewellery designers.

12 years later, what started as a game became a reality. Ani and her sister started a small business called Kattai, a handmade jewellery brand based in Valencia. It quickly turned from being a hobby to their first job, and what began as a jewellery-only business branched into clothes. After a couple of years, they both decided to pursue separate personal projects, and Kattai ended.

Ani's dream of launching her own brand stayed, and a couple of years later, in the Fall of 2022, she founded APS in London, UK. At APS, all the designs are inspired by the beautiful beaches back home and the endless summers she experienced growing up in Venezuela. For that reason, the soul of APS is a Latin, funny, and happy girl. One who loves to spend her days at the Caribbean beaches, wearing colorful necklaces with freshwater pearls and stacking an infinity of bracelets with tiny freshwater pearls and evil eyes.
